June 2006

Blam! The European Calendars are almost finished. Special thanks again to Franco for making my 30th birthday an unforgettable one, and thanks for encouraging me to drink that much wine. I never made contact with that ping pong ball that night.

June is the best month in which to be born.

hot damn! I'm impressed. You really did put 30 candles on the cake. I counted.

The giant soccer ball and lovely blue banners are nice, but why all the lightning?

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a high mountain valley that has thunder and lightning storms nearly every afternoon in the summer. We spent nearly 3 weeks there and it was really hot during the day and at about 2 or 3 o'clock the storm clouds would roll in. It reminded me a bit of New Mexico in the summertime. Probably a bit like the midwest without all the humidity.

Your calendars are awesome, I don't care that you're only on June. How the hell are ya?

ryc: well, the clothes were done in the washer when my roommate first went down there. He waited an hour, and when they were still in there, he moved them. So my neighbor had plenty of time to take care of his wet laundry... except that he actually started the load before he left for work, and was planning on finishing it 8 hours later. Now that is a ridiculously large window, you know?

hey mydogischelsea: That's gross. Your neighbor must be one stinky dude, in addition to being a dick.

Well, he uses so much laundry detergent and so many scented dryer sheets that it masks the stench, I guess.
